Learn and Memorize Thai Tones

         สวัสดีครับ! Hello everybody! Today I will introduce you about Thai Tones! Many of you have heard that Thai tones is difficult and hard to understand but today, in my lesson, I will tell you the secret of how to learn and memorize the five Thai tones easily. I will teach you step by step like Thai teacher teach a child, this is the most effective way to learn. Believe me, Thai tones is very very very very easy. 555+

          In Thai, there are five phonemic tones: mid, low, falling, high, and rising. Moreover, there are four symbols that represent tones: ไม้เอก /mái èk/, ไม้โท /mái tho/, ไม้ตรี /mái tri/, and ไม้จัตวา /mái chattawa/. Each class of Thai Consonants has its own way of using tone symbols, you have to remember the consonants in each class first before continue learning tones.

Today I'm going to introduce THAI VOWELS! The word vowels in Thai is "สระ" (Sara) . Thai vowels are easy to learn. There are 32 sounds of vowels . Which are long and short vowels. Thai Alphabet : The Secret of MAI HAN A-KAT.

You've learnt about " สระ อะ " in this lesson . Today I will teach you about... THE SECRET OF MAI HAN A-KAT !!!!!! What is it? You're going to know it now. If you want to make a word like "chan (I)", or "wan (day). You have to use the other kind of "สระ อะ (Sara a)". Let's see an example. กะ (This is " Ka ".)  กัก (This is " Kak ".) ตะ (This is " Ta ".)  ตัก (This is " Tak ".) Did you see anything? The name of "◌ั" is Mai han a-kat . It looks like a half "ะ". You have to write Mai han a-kat above the consonant. Thai system is not like English. In English when you want to add a final consonant, you can place it next to a vowel. But in Thai, you have to change the shape of the vowel. Because in Thai we don't have a space between word. So if we don't use "Mai han a-kat", it is so hard to read. For example.....
